Dog Daycare and Boarding
Socialization is so important with our dogs, it's actually recommended that they interact with at least 100 people within the first couple of months after you bring them home. Daycare and boarding with other dogs provides this with their canine pals, doggy butt sniffing is most welcome in my home.
Dog Daycare
Keeping your dog stimulated and active is a big part of keeping them healthy of mind and body. We strive to ensure a good social experience in a safe environment.
Our daycare services cater to small to medium dogs to a maximum size of 25 pounds.

This is a completely cage-free environment with the comforts of home. Dogs are treated like one of the family and will never be caged or locked up. Our set up allows for play and an area for rest, should some dogs need a nap.
We provide the first day free to give the dog the opportunity to integrate and allow us to gain an understanding of your dogs needs and ensure they are a fit.

Dogs over 12 months old must be neutered or spayed (no intact adult female or male dogs)

Dogs must pass a behavioural assessment to ensure a fit (we do not accept female dogs in heat or dogs showing any signs of aggression, including food or toys)

Dogs must be in good health (no ticks, fleas or contagious diseases). We are a flea free environment and require you administer a flea and heartworm prevention

all vaccinations must be up to date (Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza). Proof of vaccination and titers required

All dogs and owners must go through an intake interview prior to attending our day care to assess dog's behaviour

Boarding
Going on vacation, shouldn't your dog be allowed a great time too?
Often emergencies present themselves:

A chance to escape for the weekend

Sometimes you have a work deadline to meet and need to spend a weekend at the office or head out of town

You have the repair guy coming to work in your home and can't have the dogs there
​We are here to alleviate the stress and the worry from you. We are not a kennel, your dog will have the run of the house, wouldn't you rather board your dog in an evironment much like home.
All the same rules apply to any dogs for our boarding as are set up for our daycare.

Bring with you food, supplements portioned out in daily meal sizes.
Do not bring the dogs personal toys, beds, blankets we will provide bedding. This is to discourage resource guarding.
Your dog can make him/herself comfortable in our home amongst our dogs.
Boarding is based on a 24 hour stay. We hope to provide your dog a fun filled vacation and allow you to enjoy yours.

***If your dog sleeps in a crate at home and you would prefer this habit to continue during boarding with us, we will follow your wishes.
Bordatella (Kennel Cough)
Please consult your vet regarding Bordatella, they can determine whether it is necessary for your dog. Please be aware there are a multitude of strains and the vaccine only covers 4 varieties. It also requires about 2 weeks to take full effect and therefore I do not allow dogs who have recently received this vaccination access to my facility. Bringing your dog to daycare immediately after receiving this, as it is a live vaccine, can cause it to be transmitted to other dogs.
A 3 week period post vaccination is required.
*****We are a Kennel Cough (doggy cold/flu) free environment. If your dog appears lethargic, is experiencing a coughing like hacking sound, sneezing, runny nose, I recommend you have them checked by the vet and advise us. Your dog will not be accepted into daycare or boarding until receiving the all clear from the vet as this is transferable to other dogs.*****
